Ravens Out Perform Bucs 17 to 10 on Sunday

The Baltimore Ravens march on to a record of 8 wins and 3 losses after Sunday’s win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Both Derrick Mason and Todd Heap caught touchdown passes from Joe Flacco. The Ravens defense allowed only one touchdown to the Bucs which came in the 4th quarter. The Baltimore Ravens remain undefeated at home this season.

Ravens vs Bucs Halftime Report

The Baltimore Ravens are looking good at home so far going into halftime leading the Tampa Bay Bucs by a score of 17 to 3. Despite throwing his first interception at home this season, Joe Flacco has already thrown 2 touchdown passes in the first half. One of which was a 65 yard strike to tight end Todd Heap. The second TD pass was to Derick Mason who has caught several passes already in the first half. The Ravens defense is looking good as well holding the Bucs to just 3 points which came after the Flacco turnover.

Go Ravens!!!

Will Baltimore Ravens Remain Undefeated at Home?

I think they will. The Baltimore Ravens will get tested today however when they face the 7 and 3 Tampa Bay Bucs. The Ravens play very well at home and I think today will be no different. I expect the Ravens to beat the Bucs by at least 7 points today.

Derrick Mason Caught 900th Career Pass Last Sunday

I am posting this in honor of my favorite Baltimore Ravens wide receiver of all time Derrick Mason catching his 900th career pass last Sunday against the Carolina Panthers. Derrick Mason is only the 13th player in NFL history to reach this milestone. By the way, have a very Happy Thanksgiving Day!

Ravens Tame Panthers 37 to 13

The Carolina Panthers actually hung tough with the Baltimore Ravens coming to within 7 points in the second half to make it interesting. It did not stay that way long because a couple of our future hall of fame defensive players decided to take matters into their own hands in the 4th quarter. First Ed Reed intercepts a pass and laterals back to Landry who runs it in for a TD. Then Ray Lewis intercepts a pass and runs it back for another touchdown just 11 seconds later. In the words of the legendary character Jigsaw from the horror movie Saw, it was “game over“.

Look for Ravens to Overpower the Panthers

The Baltimore Ravens should beat the Carolina Panthers easily today. The Ravens have too many weapons on offense and our defense will have something to prove today after the Falcons game. Another good thing the Ravens have going for them is that they are well rested. The Carolina Panthers only have one win so far this season and they won’t get their second one against the Ravens.

Old Reliable

Derrick “Old Reliable” Mason re-injured his pinky finger in Thursday night’s game against the Atlanta Falcons. Hopefully the tough, reliable, two-time Pro Bowl wide receiver will be able to play next week. Mason has not missed a football game since 2002.

Falcons Flew Higher than Ravens Thursday Night

It was a close game like most of us thought it would be. Just when Joe Flacco and the Baltimore Ravens looked like they might steal the victory, Matt Ryan struck back with the game winning touchdown pass.

It was a real heartbreaker for us Ravens fans to watch. Our weaknesses at the cornerback position were exposed once again as the Ravens fell to the Falcons by a score of 26 to 21.

Joe Flacco vs Matt Ryan

Joe Flacco and Matt Ryan were the top two quarterbacks of the 2008 NFL draft and they have been getting compared to each other ever since. If you look at their stats you can see why. Their numbers could not be more similar.

Joe Flacco has a 26-14 record with an 85.8 quarterback rating. Matt Ryan has a 26-12 record with an 85.7 quarterback rating. Joe Flacco has completed 61.5 percent of his passes, and Matt Ryan has managed to complete 60.4 percent of his tosses. Each of them has thrown 30 interceptions in their careers.

These two quarterbacks will meet for the first time tonight as the Baltimore Ravens play the Atlanta Falcons on the national stage. Joe Flacco has been playing exceptionally well as of late, and I hope this continues on the road in Atlanta.
