Ravens Feasted on 49ers Thanksgiving Night

The Baltimore Ravens defense hunted Alex Smith all night long. Terrell Suggs had 3 sacks alone. The Ravens defense tied a franchise record with 9 sacks total. It was the type of physical gane that the Baltimore Ravens love to play. The San Francisco 49ers were held to just 2 field goals and no touchdowns as the Ravens won 16 to 6.

John Harbaugh bested his younger brother Jim Harbaugh in what was the first NFL game featuring brothers as opposing head coaches. It turned out to be a very Happy Thanksgiving Day for Ravens fans as the Ravens sit at the top of the AFC conference after the victory.

Thanksgiving Day Battle in Baltimore

As the Baltimore Ravens get ready to battle the San Francisco 49ers on this Thanksgiving night, there are several things I am thankful for.

– I am thankful that the Ravens are in 1st place in the AFC North
– I am thankful that we have speed at the wide receiver position with Torrey Smith and Lee Evans
– I am thankful David Reed will not be returning kicks no time soon
– I am thankful that the Ravens have a home game on Thanksgiving Day

I will be really thankful if the Ravens win tonight and complete this beautiful day with a victory!

Ravens Set to Play on Thanksgiving Day

The NFL released its 2011 football schedule this week and the Baltimore Ravens are scheduled to play on Thanksgiving Day! Hopefully everything will go as planned, but I am excited about a Ravens game on Turkey Day. Not to mention, it will be a home game in Baltimore versus the 49ers!
